ABSTRACT

Supply-chain management (SCM) is `an integrative approach which manages the entire process of production, distribution, and marketing processes by which a consumer is supplied with the desired product`. It helps in the reduction of transaction costs and increased margins with the added advantage of product quality and safety. In a realistic world, SCM is mainly interplay of trust among the actors and the use of effective technologies. The chain always raises the question like whether perfect coordination exists among the actors of the supply chain.The Indian agriculture system is blessed with an efficient supply chain from the input side, which also we need in the output side.
