ABSTRACT

Nanoactive herbicides are the new solutions to addressing traditional herbicide problems. Nanoactive herbicides are made up of metallic and polymeric nanoparticles and their formulation performs action through controlled mechanism. Developing nanoherbicides in the current decade may be a revolutionary approach to resolve all the problems created by traditional herbicides and reduce the costs and environmental impacts of chemical herbicide use. Since the possible use of nanostructured materials effectively allows herbicides to be used and precludes the development of weed-resistant populations at initial stages, these very attractive nanotechnological activities in agriculture have been highlighted in this article.
