ABSTRACT

The Indian economy is mainly dependent on agriculture and allied activities. Though India is moving towards development yet agriculture forms significant share in its economy. The invention of Android mobiles can be considered as a boon for farmers. Due to Android mobiles, the farmers can get the information as and when required just at their fingertips. But in today`s era due to advancement in IT sector and also due to cheap availability of internet facilities the farmers can obtain the information of advancements happening all over the globe just at their fingertips. Taking into consideration the benefits of the use of various apps and  websites for agriculture, the government is also promoting its use. It can be helpful in avoiding the trouble that farmers are facing in visiting the government offices again and again. It will also be helpful for the farmers to get timely availability of the information. The use of this modern technology will be helpful to farmers in many ways.
