Micronutrients: A way to quality fruit production

 ABSTRACT

Fruits are the richest source of several vitamins and minerals with high calorific value. India is the second-largest producer of fruits in the world fruit market but still Indian fruits are not fetching international standards in terms of quality. The productivity and quality of fruits can be greatly affected by micronutrients rather than macronutrients and plays a vital role in fruit production. Deficient of micronutrients in fruit plants leads to several disorders in plants and can affect final yield and quality too. So, the use of an adequate amount of micro-nutrients during crop growth and development stages improves both the quantity and quality of produces.
