Nowadays the demand for indigenous cattle products and by products is increasing day by day and it became a source of livelihood for many farmers in western Rajasthan, who rely on the sale of milk, meat, and other products for income. Indigenous breeds are an important part of India`s biodiversity and genetic heritage, and hence their preservation is crucial for maintaining genetic diversity and preventing the loss of valuable genetic resources.
