Ethical concerns of Agricultural Biotechnology

Different ethical concerns are raised about agricultural biotechnology, which has affected its public acceptance. Agriculture has long been a subject matter of religious, political, and philosophical manifestation. Since, late 20th century, methodical thinking about norms and values linked with the food system, such as farming, food processing, distribution, trade, and consumption begin to be discussed in the context of agricultural ethics. An understanding of ethics facilitates to decide what information is required to society and how to deal with dissimilar views.
