ABSTRACT

The corona virus (COVID-19) is an infectious respiratory disease thatis transmitted from person to person through droplets from the mouth and nose when an infected person coughs and exhales. The COVID -19, corona virus has spread to various countries all over the world very quickly. India is the second most affected country in the world after the United State. In this situation, several workers like labour workers, and industries are affected. The sexual service providers are severely affected as this disease is contagious and spread human to human and due to lockdown. In this situation, the sex workers find it difficult to survive.  Sex worker are the person, they can be women, men and transgender who work to earn money and goods in exchange for sexual services. In India officially estimated over 800,000 total number of sex workers. However,an unofficially higher number of sex workers are involved in this profession. Due to COVID-19, Sex workers faced so many obstacles in their life like reduced/ no income, lack of food and shelter. Their financial situation is very bad because they often have no money.
