ABSTRACT

Unprecedented climate change, together with its associated phenomena such as unpredictable rainfall, extreme temperatures, and so on, has become a major impediment to the agricultural sector`s overall development. Bihar is a leading state in agriculture affected by climate change. National Adaptation Fund on Climate Change has started project “Scaling up climate smart agriculture through main streaming Climate Smart Villages (CSV) in Bihar” which is changing farmers behaviour towards adoption of climate smart technologies.
