Phosphorus deficiency is significant challenge for agricultural productivity on many highly P-sorbing weathered and tropical soils through-out the world. Most of soil contains substantial reserve of total P; large part of it generally remains inert and only 10-15% of soil P enters the plant animal cycle. Biofertilizer improve fertility of soil for long run as have ability to fix nutrient and solubilise the nutrient from complex organic form. Biofertilizer can be used for increasing phosphorus efficiency strains from genera Pseudomonas, Bacillus and Rhizobium are most popular phosphate solubilizer while VAM is effective in mobilizing P far from root zone through the network of hyphae. In this article Bio-fertilizer and Phosphorus use Efficiency has been described.
