Rust diseases have been a major concern and problem for breeders, farmers and commercial seed companies over the years. Molecular markers play an important role in resistance breeding with enhanced efficiency. This article has describe about  molecular markers for yr genes, different markers for stripe rust, cloning for stripe rust, modern molecular breeding for stripe rust of wheat and loop-mediated isothermal amplification assay.
