Nanostructured Urea Fertilizer (Nano Urea): A Promising Approach to Sustainable Agriculture

ABSTRACT

Nanostructured urea fertilizer, or "Nano Urea," has emerged as a promising approach to sustainable agriculture due to its potential to improve crop yield and reducing environmental pollution. This new technology involves using nanotechnology to create smaller urea particles than conventional urea fertilizer particles, which allows for more efficient and targeted delivery of nutrients to plants. Nano urea has been shown to increase crop yields by up to 20% while reducing nitrogen leaching into groundwater by up to 50%, making it a more environmentally friendly alternative to conventional urea fertilizers. Additionally, using Nano urea can lead to significant cost savings for farmers and reduce the carbon footprint of agricultural production. Despite the many potential benefits of Nano urea, further research is needed to fully understand its long-term effects on soil health, plant growth, and environmental sustainability.
