ABSTRACT

Agriculture is not only the backbone of the Indian economy but also responsible for food security and health of country. COVID- 19 pandemic drastically hit agriculture sectors and livelihoods of many people. The purpose of this article is to reflect the negative as well as positive impact of pandemic on agriculture and include how government responds against this crisis. COVID -19 implications show that agriculture should be in the mainstream discourse and take this pandemic as an opportunity to boost the  agriculture sector.
