Organic Certification: Need and Guidelines

Organic food demand is increasing world-wide as a choice of quality food by the peoples. In India, certain criteria were fixed while producing organic food which mainly includes the prohibited use of chemicals for spraying, the use of chemical-free land, and on-site inspection. To assure the quality production of organic food, the organic certification body is working in India headed by, Department of Commerce which acts as the Apex body of the NPOP. This article has guided how to get organic certification.
