ABSTRACT
The foundation of successful agriculture lies in the quality of seeds, making seed marketing a critical component of the agricultural industry. This article examines the comprehensive system of seed marketing, encompassing the development, production, processing, quality assurance, distribution, and sale of seeds. It highlights the importance of maintaining genetic purity and health to enhance crop productivity and food security. The article also explores demand projections, marketing strategies, warehousing arrangements, and the crucial role of a robust seed marketing structure in addressing challenges like climate change, pest infestations, and soil degradation. Effective seed marketing not only supports agricultural innovation by disseminating advanced seed technologies but also ensures that farmers receive high-quality seeds, contributing to sustainable agricultural practices and economic stability in rural communities. Effective distribution networks and the management of seed activities, such as manufacturing, processing, storage, quality assurance, and marketing, are the main focuses of marketing strategies. Government rules and certification schemes are important tools for guaranteeing seed quality and protecting consumers. To support sustained agricultural growth and food security, seed marketing success depends on a strong infrastructure and strategic planning.
