Green Nanotechnology: a step towards sustainable agriculture

ABSTRACT

Nanotechnology is a promising tool to increase the efficiency of agricultural inputs and offer solutions to agricultural and environmental problems for improving food productivity and food security due to catalytic reactivity, higher surface area, size and shape of the nanoparticles. It may appear to be a novel technology with all sorts of positivity in it, yet the negative impact also exists there. So, a very deep and careful evaluation about the fate of these materials in our environment, and health of living beings have to be made for providing green signal for its all-round application.
